THE TECH

The uniqueness of the ‘Face Forward Technology’ of the iron club design is the inset of the golf iron club face as it relates to the position of the hosel.  Current design golf irons have an offset ranging from 4.7 mm to 6.0 mm (GolfClubspec.com, 2006) depending on the golf iron type.  The Pro-Series 58 ‘Face Forward Technology’ inset is the same for all 8 golf irons and has been designed to be at a nominal of 7.0 mm.  In addition, with this inset of the golf iron club face provides an estimated 10 to 15% additional hitting (useable) surface for the golfer.
